Terms & Conditions

We require a 30% non-refundable deposit to confirm a booking. Materuni Tours Company Limited can only refund if we cannot accommodate the tour according to the confirmed itinerary. We only consider that a booking is confirmed when clients have paid the deposit. The clients should send the bank slip after the deposit. The remaining balance has to be paid three months prior to the tour. For all payments involving bank transfers please ensure that all International bank charges are covered such that we receive the full amount.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation should be in a rewritten format email is also acceptable. All deposits are non-refundable except if the cancellation is made by Materuni Tours and Safari Limited. In case of postponements made by clients after a deposit has been received will transfer this to the next travelling within twelve months duration. Please note that Materuni Tours will not be responsible for any policy changes of accommodations and airlines, therefore we will apply these changes accordingly.

CHANGE BOOKING
Please, after a booking is confirmed, Materuni Tours Company Limited is willing to listen to any changes you wish to make according to your request but three months before your trip free of charge also two months before departure charges will apply 3% of the deposit paid per tour. However we will not be responsible for any penalties from the accommodations and airlines respectively.

INSURANCE
Materuni Tours & Safari Company Limited requires our clients to have travel insurance according to the nature of the tour. The insurance should be able to cover incidents such as medical expenses, repatriation expenses, damage/ loss of personal belongings such as camera, money, bag, and binocular, but not limited to the mentioned incidents. Once you have confirmed a booking with us, Materuni Tours & Safari Company Ltd will send you a form to fill out the insurance details and send back to us before the tour. We can organize evacuation scheme from Amref Flying Doctors for $10 per person to Tanzania or Kenya depending on the client’s case and Materuni Tours & Safari Ltd will not cover any medical expenses.

LIABILITY
Materuni Tours & Safari Company Limited acts as an agent for hotels, lodges, airlines and facilities provided by these parties, and will not be held responsible for delays, damage, loss, injury or accidents or changes in itineraries which may occur due to negligence of any individual party entrusted with such service. At all times during these activities, the clients should ensure they take care of their belongings.
