Overview
This tour will take you to visit five sites in the Tanzanian Northern circuit- Arusha National Park, Lake Eyasi where you will meet the bushmen, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti National Park and Lake Manyara National Park. All of these parks host a huge variety of fauna and flora, with this itinerary giving you the opportunity to view the best wildlife and landscapes of Tanzania.

DAY 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
We will pick up you up from your hotel in Arusha head to Tarangire National Park, one of the lesser known parks of the northern circuit but with the highest concentration of wildlife outside of the Serengeti! Tarangire is home to over 300 elephants who love to feed on the sweet fruits of the Amarula trees found within the park. You will be provided with a picnic lunchbox on the way and enjoy a full afternoon game drive in the national park. After your fill of wildlife you will depart the park to overnight at recommended lodge inside the park or outside the park.

DAY 2 – TARANGIRE NP - LAKE EYASI
Early game drive then back for brunch and off you head to Lake Eyasi. That evening you will take a walk at Lake Eyasi then dinner and overnight.

DAY 3 – LAKE EYASI - NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
Following breakfast you will take a walk through the scattered bust to the Bushmen’s home, accompanied by your guide and a local guide that is able to translate the language of the Hadzabe tribe, which the bushmen belong to. The Hadzabe bushmen live in groups divided into approximately 10 families and they are very welcoming to visitors. You will be able to experience their typical bush life including their unique style of hunting for a variety of game meat as well as rodents, insects, roots and leaves. They sleep in caves, without fear of the wild animals that may pass by in the night. After hunting then return and pack then set off to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, dinner and overnight at recommended lodge or campsite.

DAY 4 - NGORONGORO CRATER
Wake up early morning for breakfast (early start for the best wildlife viewing) and then descend into the Crater floor for a game drive. Here in this wonderful caldera you may see lions, leopard, buffalo, elephant, black rhino, zebra, hippo, wildebeest, hyena and more. Your lunch will be served at the picnic site in the crater- Ngoitoktok swamp- you will be able to eat your lunch alongside the hippos in the pool. Following lunch you will ascend the crater to drive to Serengeti game on the route. Dinner and Overnight at Serengeti

DAY 5 – FULL DAY SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After a morning game drive head back down South towards the central region of the Serengeti. You will overnight at central Serengeti at recommended lodge or public campsite.No doubt after a scrumptious dinner and packed day of wildlife you will turn yourselves in early.

DAY 6 – SERENGETI - LAKE NATRON
Wake up early morning for breakfast then set off to Lake Natron game on the way. Dinner and over night at recommended campsite/lodge

DAY 7 – LAKE NATRON
Following breakfast at the Lodge or campsite you will go to the waterfalls and you will also be to see the flamingos on Lake Natron. After dinner you will take a nap then wake up around 11pm and your driver will drive you to the start point of Oldonyo-Lengai to start hiking with a local guide to view sunrise early in the morning. Hiking is approximately 6 hours up and down.

DAY 8 – LAKE NATRON- ARUSHA
Today you will be picked up after descending down Oldonyo-Lengai you will have breakfast then pack and drive back to Arusha with lunch box on the way. You will arrive in Arusha at approximately 6.30 pm for dinner and overnight at your accommodation if departing, we can arrange transportation to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha airport.
