8 Days Tanzania Lodge Safari

We will take you up from your accommodation in Moshi at 8/9am and drive you to Tarangire National Park, one of the northern circuit's lesser-known parks but with the largest concentration of species outside of the Serengeti! Tarangire is home to around 300 elephants who enjoy the delicious fruits of the Amarula trees that grow throughout the park. You will be given a picnic lunchbox on the journey and will have the opportunity to go on a full afternoon game drive in the national park. After you've had your fill of animals, you'll leave the park and spend the night within it.

Early morning game drive, brunch, and then off to Lake Eyasi. That evening, you'll go for a walk around Lake Eyasi before eating and sleeping.

Following breakfast at your lodging, you will walk through the scattered bust to the Bushmen's residence, escorted by your guide and a local guide who can explain the Hadzabe tribe's language, to whom the bushmen belong. The Hadzabe bushmen live in groups of around ten families and are very friendly to visitors. You will be able to witness their usual bush existence, including their unique technique of hunting for a range of game meat as well as rodents, insects, roots, and leaves. They sleep in caverns, fearless of the wild creatures that may pass by during the night. After hunting, return and pack before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area for supper and stay at your lodge.

Early morning meal at 6 a.m. (early start for optimal wildlife viewing) followed by a game drive on the Crater floor. Lions, leopards, buffalo, elephants, black rhinos, zebras, hippopotamus, wildebeest, hyenas, and other animals may be found in this magnificent caldera. Your lunch will be provided at the crater picnic site- Ngoitoktok swamp- where you will be able to dine among the hippos in the pool. After lunch, around 1pm, you will ascend the crater to travel to the Serengeti wildlife reserve. Serengeti dinner and overnight.

After a morning wildlife drive, return to the Serengeti's center area.You'll spend another night in the Seronera region. You'll no likely be tired after a delicious meal and a full day of animal viewing.

Get up early for breakfast, then head to Lake Natron game on the way. Dinner and lodging at your resort.

Following breakfast at your hotel, you will visit the waterfalls and observe the flamingos on Lake Natron. After supper, you will snooze until 11 p.m., when your driver will transport you to the Oldonyo-Lengai trailhead to begin trekking with a local guide to see the sunrise early in the morning. Hiking takes around 6 hours up and down.

You will be fetched up after descending Oldonyo-Lengai to have breakfast at your lodge before packing and driving back to Moshi via Arusha with a lunch box. You'll arrive in Moshi at 7.30 p.m. for supper and an overnight stay at your hotel.
