Early morning breakfast and a brief morning game drive before heading to the Serengeti National Park for an afternoon wildlife drive (lunchbox supplied). This afternoon, you will go on a wildlife drive in the central Seronera area, which is ideal for spotting lion prides and other big cats. Following your game drive, you will return to your National Park hotel for dinner before retiring for the night.

full day wildlife drive in Serengeti National Park will allow you to explore this huge grassland. After your wildlife drive, have a picnic luncheon before returning to your accommodation for dinner and another night in the bush.

Rise early to catch the wildlife while they are still active before the day becomes too hot and they go to rest (dawn game drive). Explore the hippo pools and look for crocodiles sunning as the sun rises. Return to your hotel for brunch, pack your belongings, and then travel to Ngorongoro while watching more animals along the route. Expect to see zebra and perhaps an elephant strolling around camp. You'll undoubtedly be tired by the end of the day!

After a great breakfast at your lodge, descend into the iconic Ngorongoro crater to observe some of Tanzania's less common animals, including the black rhino. You will have a morning game drive on the crater's vast grassy plains, pausing for a picnic lunch at Ngoitoktok hippo springs before continuing your journey to Tarangire National Park, where you will experience a game drive on your way to your lodge.

Your final morning on safari will be spent in this area known for enormous herds of elephants and massive baobab trees dotting the landscape. Before heading for Arusha/Moshi (arrive 5-6pm), stop for lunch at the picturesque picnic location overlooking the Tarangire River.
