It is now obvious how the Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted travel all over the world and  Tanzania is no exception. Now every country you want to visit requires a PCR test a few hours before departure and a negative PCR certificate on arrival at the airport.  At Materuni Tours, we vow to give you all the information you need as we aspire to give you assistance to take all the safety measures for your safety before, during, and even after taking a safari or Mount Kilimanjaro trek with us.

The Government of Tanzania is doing its best efforts in curbing and controlling the spread of the Covid-19 virus.  As much as countries are pushing vaccination efforts, more and more variants of the same are mutating to spread faster.

Children aged 5 and under are NOT required to produce a negative PCR certificate to get into Tanzania.
  • International visitors will be required to take a rapid test on arrival at a cost of USD 10 – guests can pay for this online whilst completing the health declaration form. Guests arriving via a land border such as Namanga will not need to take a rapid test on arrival.

After completing to fill the form, the website generates a control number which is required in order to pay for the rapid test.
